It's the right time, especially with the Dems and the GOP, surrendering their ability to compromise.  They should change to Liberal and Conservative.  There is no middle ground on the political landscape anymore; therefore, for the vast moderate middle ground, the time is now.  Hisotry says that third parties are single issue efforts that generally fail, or charismatic figures that can command a personality cult following.  Both are short sighted and doomed to justifiable failure.
